A new business angel report was released by the UK government.

Activity in the business angel sector shrank in 2009/ 10 – with a 3.7% drop in the funds raised.

This was on the back of fewer business plans (8% of all received) going foward to investors vs 9.5% of plans from the previous year being presented.

The figures also suggest that the number of business angels dropped by 10% although the report thinks may over state the fall.
