Texas Angel Investors form a Posse

Angel investor groups across Texas are joining forces to attract more investors to help them make larger joint investments in start-ups and simplify the process for entrepreneurs seeking funding in the US state.

The chairman of the Central Texas Angel Network in Austin is reported to be leading efforts to launch the alliance which is regarded as an important part of boosting the State’s economy, which is currently still in the doldrums.  At least seven of 18 Texas angel groups will be backing the move, which should be formalised next year. The agreement will mark a further trend towards greater cooperation and consolidation of investor groups in the US.
