European business angel network Sophia Business Angels (SBA) have have made an investment in Radisens Diagnostics, an Irish tech start-up to help fund a route to market for its portable digital diagnostics product line.

SBA were recently named 2010 European Business Angel Network of the year by EBAN. SBA has 50 members from 18 countries with an interest in early-stage local, national, and international start-up projects. The group’s has combined expertise in finance, ICT, Bio, and Energy.
