Birmingham based Aeristech, an engineering company working on the development of fuel efficient low-cost turbocharger technology received a significant boost to their business when they managed to attract  £125,000 of support from business angels in the region. The system will allow car manufacturers to downsize their engines without reducing performance, which will make them more efficient in terms of emissions and cost. With some high profile government lending withdrawn in recent days,  this comes as a welcome piece of good news for manufacturing in the UK.
